After School Program Registration Guide

1. Please click this link https://emeraldcitykarate.sites.zenplanner.com/sign-up-now.cfm to create your account on Zen Planner.

2. Choose the applicable red “signup” button on the signup page.

3.  Please fill out all of your information under “Sign Up Now”.

If you already have a Zen Planner account with your email address, you can click the link labeled click “here” to log in.

*Don’t forget to fill out the name of the elementary school that your child attends and which days you would like to sign up for.

4.  Click the red button labeled ‘Continue’.

5.  Choose either yes or no for our afterschool program equipment package.

If you’re a new student, you’re required to get this equipment package to be prepared for the year.

If you’re returning student and missing either a karate uniform or sparring gloves,  we can set you up with any gear you have misplaced.

6.  Please fill out your payment information and click the red ‘Sign Up Now button’ at the bottom of the page.

7.  Please fill out the afterschool program waiver and click the red button at the bottom of the page.

*The steps from here are very IMPORTANT!  Please COMPLETE ALL THE STEPS in order to reserve your child’s spot.

8.  After you have signed the afterschool program waiver, click ‘Calendar’ from the left navigation bar.  Click the gray button on top of this page (see the picture below) and click ‘All Calendars’.

9.  Click the right arrow “>” on the top, left-hand side of this page to go to September.  You’ll see four days of our afterschool program classes.

Please select one of the days you plan on attending our after-school program.  For example, if you’re planning to attend twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday), click Tuesday.

10.  Click the red ‘Reserve’ button to reserve your child’s spot.

*This step of actually reserving all of your spots on the calendar for the first week is very IMPORTANT because it will reserve those days for the rest of the year!  Registration for the afterschool program is only complete after purchasing an afterschool program membership AND reserving your child’s spots on the calendar.

*If you haven’t purchased one of the afterschool memberships FIRST, you can’t reserve your child’s spot at this step.  Please make sure to purchase a membership FIRST via those previous steps.

11. Repeat the previous steps from Step 8 to reserve your child’s additional days for their membership.

For example…  Add the

• 2nd and 3rd days for a 3 day a week membership
• 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days for a 4 day a week membership

5.  After you have signed the waivers, click ‘Calendar’ from the left navigation bar.  Click the gray button on the top of this page (see the picture below) and click ‘All Calendars’.

6.  Click the right arrow “>” on the top, left-hand side of this page to go to September.  You’ll see the first four days of afterschool program classes.

Please select one of the days you plan on attending our after-school program.  For example, if you’re planning to attend twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday), click Tuesday.

7.  You’ll see your additional child(ren)’s name from the drop menu under ‘Select family member to view eligibility and register for a class’.

Please choose your additional child(ren)’s name and click the red ‘Reserve’ button to reserve your additional child(ren)’s spot.

*This step of actually reserving all of your spots on the calendar for the first week is very IMPORTANT because it will reserve those days for the rest of the year!  Registration for the afterschool program is only complete after purchasing an afterschool program membership AND reserving your child’s spots on the calendar.

8. Repeat the previous steps, starting from Step 5 to reserve your additional child(ren)’s spots for each individual day you’d like your children to attend.  This helps us build our class roster correctly.

• 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days for a 4 day a week membership
