We would like to announce that we’ll be changing our dojo mask rules. Starting on Monday, February 6th, masks will be recommended but not required.
It’s been almost a year since the CDC lifted the face mask mandate and we’ve made masks mandatory this whole time out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of our community.
While we still will recommend students wear masks at the dojo, it will not be required. More and more students and their guardians aren’t bringing masks to the dojo so we’ve been going through masks endlessly which is bad for the environment.
Because of that, we will no longer be providing free masks at the front desk, so please prepare your own if you’d like to train with one on.
If a student has a slight cough or any flu symptoms we will provide them with a mask in that situation. That being said, students should stay home if they are feeling unwell.
Summary of New Dojo Mask Rules:
- Starting on Monday, February 6th
- Masks Recommended but not Required
- Students with any flu symptoms will be expected to wear a mask
Please let us know if you have any questions. We’re here for you.
