Parents, do you find yourselves yearning for a night out without the kids? Look no further because at Emerald City Karate, we’ve got you covered! Our monthly Parents’ Night Out (PNO) event at the dojo is the perfect opportunity for parents to enjoy some well-deserved time to themselves, whether it’s catching a movie or simply relishing in quality time together.
What to Expect:
Fun for All Levels:
No experience in martial arts before? No problem! Our PNO is designed to be both fun and educational for children at every level of experience, from beginners to advanced.
Exciting Activities:
Get ready for an evening filled with pulse-pounding martial arts techniques, NERF Blaster games, Foam Sword Battles, DodgeBall, and Teamwork-building exercises.
Safe Environment:
Our events provide an excellent and safe atmosphere with positive role models. Safety is our priority, and participants are required to wear provided safety glasses during specific activities.
Event Details:
- Date and Time: February 16th, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Ages: 6 and Older
- Attire: Children should dress in activewear; please leave valuables at home.
- Food & Drink: We’ve got dinner covered! Pizza & a juice pouch/box will be provided for your kids, so no need to feed them before the event.
Important Notes:
- Drop-off and Pickup Times: Drop-off starts at 5:15 PM, and pickup begins at 8:15 PM. Please pick up your child(ren) by 8:45 PM.
- Attire and Valuables: Children should dress in activewear, and it’s advised to leave valuables at home.
- Special Needs: Please inform us of any allergies or special needs your child may have.
- What to bring:
- A Water bottle.
- NERF blaster if you have one. (Darts are provided at the dojo, so please DO NOT BRING your own)
- If you don’t have one or your household doesn’t allow it, we understand. Since we have a limited supply for borrowing, please let us know before the event.

- Active ECK Student – *$30 per child
- Non-Active ECK Student – $40 per child
– Additional Siblings:
- Active ECK Student – *$27 per child
- Non-Active ECK Student – $36 per child
*Active ECK student rate is only available for Emerald City Karate students with an active monthly membership. 2-week trial students are not eligible for this rate.
